TOES (TEMPSC Orientation and Evacuation System) is a Lifeboat Orientation and Propulsion System that has been developed and designed to enhance the performance of offshore survival craft.
The development of TOES has confirmed the need for a low-cost retrofittable system that improves the operational performance of conventional lifeboats. This alleviates known operational problems associated with Lifeboat performance thus providing a risk reduction benefit on conventional survival craft performance.
These benefits, combined with substantial long-term maintenance cost savings, provide the owner/operator with a low-cost alternative to other systems for lifeboat orientation. At the same time, TOES addresses current legislation relating to the general performance of lifeboats as part of an installations EER criticality study.
