  The DONUT Multiple Escape System – consisting of Escape Station, Donut Units, Liferafts and Storage Cabinets – provides the most enhanced and cost-effective alternative to chute-based systems to operators in meeting their safety case requirements. Donut provides the user with a guaranteed entry to the safety of a kickover liferaft, with the use of an additional strap that attaches to the painter line of the liferaft, the user is guided towards the liferaft during descent. Once in the water this alleviates the risk of the user being washed away.

  Safety Assurance Testing

  Donut requires to be inspected only once every 4 years, based on 25% annual representative batch testing for installations / vessels with more than 40 Donut units onboard, within a recognised revalidation scheme.
