Cruise Liner Operator MSC adopt’s Donut Safeland Marine as their preferred method of Last Crewmember Escape

In December 2014, Donut Safeland Ltd, delivered the first Order of Donut Safeland Marine Descent Devices to Sorrento based Cruise Liner Operator Mediterranean Shipping Company ( MSC ) for installation onboard the Cruise Liner MV Armonia, for last Crew member escape from the Vessel.

MSC have committed to roll out the use of the Donut Safeland Marine Descent Device throughout their Fleet of twelve Cruise Liners in 2015, including three New Vessels currently in Build stage.

These Orders come on the back of continued Product supply and support of the Donut Safeland MarineDescent Device to the Carnival Group, with Units currently installed onboard the Adonia, Arcadia, Aurora, Azura, Oriana, Ventura, Queen Elizabeth & Queen Victoria.

The Donut Safeland Marine Descent Device provides Operational enhancements and cost saving benefit’s to replacement of conventional Inertia Reel systems, whereby the Donut Safeland Marine needs only to be purchased once within the Lifetime of the Vessel and requires to be Recertified only once every 5 Years.

DONUT SAFELAND Marine is ISO 9001 approved. It has ‘Approval for use’ Certification from all major International Regulatory Authorities, providing Cruise Line Operator’s and the User with complete confidence.
